I'm going back to the extra June Something questions in August because I liked a lot of them and only did two so far. :D

Day 10: Reserved for one or two questions from Day 3! (Part 3)

What's a movie that you'd like to see turned into a TV series for more backstory?

Alllll of them! :D More backstory is literally the only reason why I prefer tv shows as a medium this strongly. It's also one of the reasons why most of the movies I actually love are coming-of-age ones, like White Oleander, Precious, and Speak. (The other reason being 'anything that is fully about teenage girls = instantly my new favorite fandom', pretty much. xD) It also does help that they're based on books, which I love more than the movie in some cases.

(And I just realized that the only movie icons I have are from a movie I haven't even watched yet, lol.)

I have seen Precious once. It was a good movie. Have you ever read the book?

Indeed, it is a heart-breaking. But a good play of the two lead actresses. I have not had the chance read the book. Like some books written as the first person. I read something wild from Mo'Nique. She apparently does not shave her legs.

I'm the same way, there are a lot of movies that I love but, unless they become a franchise, the limited run time doesn't allow much exploration of the backstory. You might get some additional tie-ins from behind-the-scenes and things like that, which I also love because that's very juicy stuff, but otherwise you can be left longing for more.

Oh, White Oleander! I read the book, but haven't seen the movie.
