YELLOWJACKETS DAY, the very last one for who knows how long, and I already miss it so, so much. ♡♡♡ Like, it's not Lost, but I think it is the Lost that I need now.

Spoilers for episode 2x09 - Storytelling, but tbh this is not going to be either coherent or comprehensive.

I basically just want to say that "except we got over it" is the tagline of the show now for me, when I heard it I made this indescribable gesture at the screen because holy shit this is so... not even ironic anymore, this has passed ironic a long time ago and landed somewhere in denial land, and I'm here for it.

I also want to say that Nat's ending is fucking heartbreaking but I'm not bitter about it.

I'm also so glad that Callie is okay. (Physically, that is. Mentally she may as well be the new Antler Queen.)

And what Ben did is so unhinged and strangely valid, and I'm wondering if 25 years later he's still in the cave. It's kinda either this or he gets eaten in 3x01, there's not much middle ground here. xD

I am sorry to read. See you later’s are always hard. I also had to say to say for my show, Walker. With the strike, and the renewal of it, but only thirteen episodes are announced, I fear that it is going to be the last season in October. If the strike is over by then, otherwise the show is going to delayed.

Walker's actually being held over to midseason anyway rather than October, so that gives it a bit more time for the strike situation to be resolved.

Where did you learn that? I was getting worried here. Thank you so much for letting me know.

If I hear the same theory too many times, I get sick of it and find myself hoping it's not going to turn out to be true, and "Ben is the next to be eaten" has reached that point with me, so I find myself hoping for him still being in the cave 25 years later! Having said that, since Ben did tell Natalie of its existence, might she end up leading the others there at the start of S3?

I would have probably added Travis to the plane scene at the end myself had I written it.

I've actually been quite curious about Yellowjackets, since I've seen it everywhere and most people I follow online have been talking about it or reblogging things about it. At first it wasn't much of a ping on my radar aside from "this is a show people are watching", but then I saw that the show goes into cannibalism and people being psychologically fucked up over having been in survival mode for months after being stranded, and some kind of weird fucked up shit that goes down. And I love me some fucked up shit, especially fucked up characters. So, I am intrigued.

I know that the writer's strike is going to be tough for a lot of these shows, either they'll be on indefinite hiatus or they will be on the chopping block. Which sucks, but that's how it goes unfortunately.
