Gah, yes, it would have been beyond perfect! ♥ Personally I don't see their canon ships as THE relationships that would make them happy in the long run, there are just too many differences. But Mal/Kaylee would be forever, they GET each other, they even both love Serenity the most. :D AND OMG, THE CUTE. THEY MELT MY HEART. Well, at least there are more fics than there are Firefly episodes. xD
